Integrations

Connect the systems you use — and the people insights you already have.

IRIS is designed to fit into your existing ecosystem. Connect identity, HR, talent and business systems through enterprise SSO and bidirectional APIs — and bring existing assessment insights into IRIS so they can contribute to ongoing development.

Both ecosystems contribute to IRIS — and IRIS connects development back into organizational workflows.

One development ecosystem. Not another silo.

Organizations have often accumulated multiple assessment platforms, talent systems and sources of people data over time. Each may contribute something useful, but the information can remain fragmented across reports, platforms and individual development experiences. IRIS is designed to connect those pieces. Through standards-based authentication, APIs and the ability to incorporate insights from existing assessments, IRIS can become a common development layer across the organization.

Identity

Secure, simpler access

IRIS supports enterprise single sign-on using SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC), allowing organizations to incorporate IRIS into established identity and access-management environments.

Reduce unnecessary login friction while fitting IRIS into the access practices your organization already uses.

APIs

Move information in both directions

IRIS provides APIs designed for bidirectional integration with external systems. Organizations can bring relevant information into IRIS and make appropriate IRIS information available to connected applications, allowing development intelligence to participate in broader people and business workflows.

Your technology ecosystem

Designed to work with the systems around your people

Use IRIS APIs to build connections with HR, talent, customer, learning and other enterprise environments.

HRIS / HRMS

Connect IRIS with the systems organizations use to manage people and workforce information.

Talent Management

Incorporate IRIS into broader leadership, development and talent workflows.

CRM

Connect with platforms such as Salesforce when IRIS information needs to participate in customer, coaching, partner or business workflows.

Learning & Development

Connect development insights with learning environments and development experiences.

Coaching & Mentoring

Use IRIS as part of broader coaching, mentoring and development ecosystems.

Recruiting / ATS

Incorporate appropriate IRIS workflows into talent-selection environments where applicable.

Enterprise Applications

Build integrations around the systems and workflows unique to the organization.

Integrations can be developed through IRIS APIs based on the systems, use case and available data involved. References to software categories or platforms do not imply a native connector or vendor partnership unless specifically identified.

Assessment Intelligence

Build on the insights you already have.

Organizations have invested years in assessments designed to help people understand personality, strengths, preferences, leadership tendencies and other individual characteristics. Those insights do not have to live in separate reports or disappear after a workshop. IRIS is being designed to allow existing assessment information to be brought into the development experience so that previous insights can help inform ongoing growth.

Keep the insight. Extend the development.

From assessment insight to development context

A simple way existing assessment information can contribute to the IRIS development experience.

1

Bring in existing insights

Organizations or participants can provide information from assessments they have already completed.

2

Translate into a common development context

IRIS does not need to reproduce another assessment's proprietary questions, reports or interpretive content. Instead, relevant customer-provided insights can be related to understandable IRIS development language and considered alongside IRIS data.

3

Put insight into motion

IRIS can help move the development conversation from a one-time description toward ongoing growth and observable change.

From
“This is what my assessment says about me.”
Toward
“How am I showing up now, what do I want to strengthen and what is changing over time?”
SEE
Understand how someone is showing up now.
GROW
Focus development around what matters next.
SHOW
Make change visible over time.

Personality can provide context. Development requires movement.

Traditional assessments can provide useful language for understanding personality, preferences, strengths or tendencies. IRIS adds a different development lens: how a person is currently showing up, what they want to strengthen and how their expression changes over time. Existing assessment insights can therefore become additional context for development rather than remaining a one-time description of the person.

IRIS Development Context
  • How am I showing up?
  • What matters in this situation?
  • Where do I want to grow?
  • What am I practicing?
  • What is changing?
Previous assessments can contribute context. IRIS helps carry that context forward into development.
One development view

Less fragmented insight. More connected development.

A leader may have completed several assessments over the course of a career. A coach may work with clients who arrive with reports from multiple instruments. An organization may use different assessment platforms across leadership, hiring, coaching and talent programs. IRIS can provide a place to bring relevant insights together and relate them to a shared development framework.

Preserve prior investment

Continue using useful insights from assessments people have already completed rather than starting from zero.

Create common language

Relate information from different sources to understandable development language that coaches, participants and organizations can use together.

Reduce fragmentation

Bring relevant development context closer together instead of requiring people to navigate disconnected reports and assessment systems.

Focus on growth

Move beyond describing characteristics toward intentional development and observable change over time.

Give coaches more context without giving them another assessment to administer.

Clients often arrive in coaching with years of assessment history. IRIS can help bring relevant information from those previous experiences into the development conversation, alongside current IRIS insights, desired growth and change over time. This can give a coach a broader context for asking better questions while keeping the participant — rather than an assessment label — at the center of the conversation.

What IRIS does not do
  • IRIS does not tell coaches what an assessment “means.”
  • IRIS does not replace professional interpretation or certification requirements associated with third-party assessments.
  • IRIS does not diagnose an individual or determine development needs.

A common development layer across multiple programs

Different teams, coaches and programs may use different assessment tools. IRIS can help organizations create greater continuity by relating relevant existing insights to a shared framework for development while allowing individual programs to retain the tools that work for them.

Access should remain appropriate to the organization, participant permissions and the capabilities actually implemented in IRIS.

Designed to complement — not reproduce — existing assessments

IRIS can use information provided from existing assessment experiences as development context. IRIS does not present itself as the publisher of those instruments and should not reproduce proprietary assessment questions, reports or protected interpretive content.

Third-party assessment names should be used only to identify examples of tools customers may already use. Their inclusion does not indicate affiliation, endorsement or partnership.

Implementation may depend on the information available, customer permissions and the rights associated with the source material.
